Welcome to the Camping Carpodrome Etang de la Fougeraie website, our small family campsite with its fishing pond will be delighted to welcome you to its 8.6 hectare estate surrounded by nature in a Natura 2000 area in the Morvan Regional Natural Park, in the heart of the beautiful Bourgogne Franche Comté region.

In this peaceful and environmentally friendly place, we will be able to accompany you throughout your stay in order to guarantee you a holiday that will remain engraved in your memories.

The Fougeraie campsite is located in the Morvan massif of 600 meters, in a region of small mountains, which makes it a rich and hilly landscape. The Morvan region is the continuity of the Massif Central and its famous volcanoes, and it will take you to the mountains of the Jura chain.

Here nature is omnipresent and guarantees you a real breath of fresh air in a calm environment, far from the hustle and bustle of cities.

Lovers of beautiful wild spaces, here you can practice all the sports that suit you.

Hiking and cycling are king, the Morvan Regional Natural Park has managed to preserve and develop its territory to offer you hundreds of kilometers of paths and marked paths for all levels of walkers. From family walks to the most seasoned athletes, including beginners, you can walk through these wonderful landscapes which make the Morvan massif a unique place of biodiversity in Bourgogne Franche Comté.

Holidays in the Morvan are inseparable from the forests and the great lakes of the Morvan, such as the Lac des Settons for swimming and water sports, the Lac de Pannecières which promises you a great session of Carp or lure fishing and confront pike-perch pike and other very large perch. The lakes of Chaumeçon and Saint Aignan remain very wild with breathtaking landscapes.

You can also enjoy the heritage of the Bourgogne Franche Comté region, rich in a rare and extraordinary history, which through all ages has left a unique imprint on France and the memory of the inhabitants of Morvan.

You can explore the castle of Bazoches, the salt fountains and the Basilica of Vézelay, visit the very beautiful towns with architecture testifying to the history of the Dukes of Burgundy such as Autun or Avallon or even discover the triptych of Tarnishing.

Immerse yourself in the culture of our ancestors the Celts with the museum and archaeological site of Bibracte on the culture of the Aedui.

In Château-Chinon you will visit the Costume Museums, or the François Mitterrand Museum which brings together the most beautiful collection of art objects offered to the President by the many heads of state he met during his 2 Presidential terms.

Beyond visits, walks and sports in the Morvan, you can enjoy your holidays at leisure in our campsite adapted to motorhomes, we do everything we can to offer you recent and very good quality infrastructures.

For Gourmets and Gourmands, we have a restaurant with an interior room and a very large covered terrace integrated into the landscape, in canvas and wood, offering you a unique panoramic view in the Morvan.

We also offer a take-out pizza service. Naturally our cuisine is homemade to offer you a quality experience.

Our campsite is accessible to people with reduced mobility both in terms of sanitary facilities, reception, grocery store, restaurant, swimming pool and certain rentals. At the Fougeraie campsite we are equipped with a defibrillator in case of emergency with instructions and use in French and English.

To guarantee you a successful holiday in complete confidence, our establishment benefits from the national and recognized Labels of Bourgogne Tourism Quality and Camping Quality.
